Unit 1 – Scuola e dintorni (School and Surroundings)

• Communicative Objectives:
  • Narrate a personal or past event
  • Talk about habits and school memories
  • Describe teachers, classmates, school, or a course
  • Express agreement/disagreement and regret
  • Show astonishment or disbelief
  • Admit something and criticize opinions

• Grammar & Vocabulary:
  • Use of auxiliaries in passato prossimo
  • Verbs with both auxiliaries in the past
  • Pronominal verbs: cavarsela, entrarci
  • Review of indicative past tenses: passato prossimo, imperfetto, passato remoto
  • Double relative pronouns: chi, ciò che

Unit 2 – Cibo, che passione! (Food, What a Passion!)

• Communicative Objectives:
  • Talk about one’s relationship with food
  • Express culinary tastes and preferences
  • Describe a dish or recipe
  • Explain a procedure clearly

• Grammar & Vocabulary:
  • Indefinite pronouns and adjectives
  • Future perfect (futuro anteriore)
  • Subjunctive with indefinites
  • Left dislocation (dislocazione a sinistra)
  • Review and extension of passive voice using si passivante

• Extra:
  • Facciamo il punto 1: Review, personal reflection, deepening understanding
  • E tu, come fai? → Sharing methods and personal routines
  • Verbs followed by prepositions

Unit 3 – A saperlo? (If Only I Had Known?)

• Communicative Objectives:
  • Express and comment on statistics and percentages
  • Refer to events and facts in a historical timeline
  • Frame an event in a specific century or time
  • Report historical or public events
  • Argue and discuss opinions in informal settings

• Grammar & Vocabulary:
  • Adverbs of time: Allora, Un giorno
  • Reported speech (introductory verb dire)
  • Use of numerals as nouns
  • Conditional for uncertain news
  • Expression: Non perché + congiuntivo
  • Indirect questions

• Course fees include one digital material copy. A hard copy is available at an additional cost through our recommended supplier.
• Public groups consist of 16 hours for a Central European Framework (CEFR) level, with 2-7 students per group.
• After enrolment, students can request to switch to another group or schedule, provided the request is made at least 7 days before the original class start date.
• All of our teachers are native speakers of the target language. If a teacher is unavailable due to illness or an emergency, a replacement teacher will be provided, fully briefed on the group’s progress.
• Once a student has started in a group, they cannot request to change to a different group or schedule.
• Course fees are non-refundable once the group has started.
• Recordings of group classes are available for later viewing, but we require permission from all students before the course begins.
• Each program ends with a final exam, including written and verbal sections. To progress to the next CEFR level, a student must score at least 70% on the exam.
